Chris Giddens is a 36 year old Children’s minister near Atlanta, Georgia where he lives with his wife Melanie and newborn son Jake. Chris began his LEGO experience at age seven with the Basic Building set #400, but Chris truly fell in love with bricks when he got his first Classic Space building set #6901. Laying eyes on this set made Chris a LEGO builder for life.

Chris has taken part in founding many websites to promote his love for bricks. In 2003 he helped establish DixieLUG as an active LEGO user group, and Chris also helped in founding both SciBrick and Classic Space.com which serves as a home for LEGO space builders. Chris was honoured with the awards for Best Small, Medium and Large Space creations at Brickfest 2003. Chris was also very glad to have taken part in the creation of the modular system for the Moonbase Project.

Chris enjoys building spaceships and spacebases. When Chris was a kid he dreamt of building a fleet of spaceships and did what he could with the elements he had, but now as an adult Chris is beginning to realize many of his childhood dreams. Chris has his own website where he shares his creations with kids of all ages. Chris has been able to hone his skills as a part of the AFOL community. Chris believes that no matter what age you are you should never give up your LEGO bricks. Chris believes that LEGO is a lifelong friend and hobby that parents and their children can enjoy together.
