Didier Enjary is 35, he lives in Lyon, France. He is married and has one daughter who enjoys her DUPLO bricks. He is an engineer who works for quality control, customer assistance and product development in the building construction business.

His first interest on LEGO products as a fan was about technical sets at the very end of the seventies. Technic is still his preferred theme even though realistic model (train, town) and building techniques is of high interest for him since he has discovered the incredible Internet community work through Lugnet and Brickshelf four years ago.

As a FreeLUG (FREnch Enthousiast LEGO User Group) member since February 2003, he has participated in numerous Model Shows, Mall animation, and meetings in France. He has written or co-authored almost one hundred LEGO related articles for the Freelug website. He also enjoys to create building instructions of other FreeLUG members’ MOCs (My Own Creation).

As a lot of material about LEGO and the community on the Internet is published in English, he has founded a service for FreeLUG members intended to better connect the people needs for translation with the potential translators. His latest works are the translation into French of the Dean Hystad book “Building LEGO robots for the FIRST LEGO League” and the 4th chapter of Allan Bedford’s ‘Unofficial LEGO Builders Guide”.

He has attended Legoworld 2003 and BrickFest 2005 where he has made a presentation. He is the ILTCO (International LEGO Train Club Organization) representative for Freelug and also collaborate to issues of Joe Meno’s Brickjournal.

His pleasure is to share and to help AFOLs to be connected. He hopes to contribute to the LEGO Ambassador program the same way as he has done in the AFOL community: by connecting people.
