I'm Marco Chiappa, 35 years old and I live with my wife and
my son, Claudio 4 years old, in Lecco, Italy.
I have been playing with Lego bricks since the age of 5 introduced by my parents.
The "dark age" sadly hit me from about 16 years old to 25.
Then I started building my old original sets and some little MOCs.
In 2001 I discovered the Lego internet community, and I started to study technic construction, MLcad and parts reference.
In November of 2003, my Lego life changed radically.
I found in Itlug, a fantastic group of AFOLs and a solid group of friends.
My activity changed from personal entertainment to a better project and MOCs for Lego Shows.
I was an Ambassador for Cycle 4 from August 2006 to February 2007 and now I'm ready for Cycle 5.
I'm the organizer of Legofest in Ballabio.
In real life I'm an information technology systemist although I started 15 years ago as a programmer.
In these years I have always worked in the same firm and now I'm the manager of the systemist area.
Town is my preferred theme from the beginning.
Today I also like trains and castle and sometimes I build sculpture.
